Short term contracting role providing safety case specialist advice and support to Amec Nuclear

Profit and loss accountability for the Cumbria region. Management of a team of safety engineers providing consulting safety case support to the nuclear industry, both civil and defence sectors. Full responsibility for all aspects of the business - marketing, customer liaison and key account management, staff recruitment, retention and development etc.

Responsible for meeting specifications for encapsulated waste for return to overseas cusomers and for long-term storage. Customer interface, regulatory interface.

Quantified risk assessment for nuclear reprocessing facilities. Development of safety cases. HAZOP. HAZAN. Human factors modelling, fault tree modelling etc.
