Provide daily support of Information Clinical Systems and serve as a liaison between Vanderbilt and third party vendors.Develop custom monitoring applications using C++, Perl, PHP, Python, SQL, and shell scripting to ensure system performance and stability meet or exceed expectations.Design and support integration between various software applications.Design, develop, and administer various instances of Oracle and MySQL Databases.Collaborate with other IT teams to determine root causes of outages and issues.Serve as project lead to convert application performance monitors to a centralized location to increase management efficiency.Serve as technical lead on several key projects such as ConnectRx Disaster Recovery and Outpatient Pharmacy System Replacement.Provide full server support for Windows and Linux Servers.Provide technical assistance and application design for a Vanderbilt University Bioinformatics grant.

Monitor all networks, servers, and applications utilizing Nagios, SiteScope, Cisco AVS, and custom applications.Develop custom monitoring applications to meet customer needs using C, C++, Perl, PHP, SQL, and shell scripting.System administration of application servers running Redhat Enterprise Linux, Windows Server, and Cisco AVS appliances.Assist other IT teams to determine root causes of outages and issues.Serve as project lead to convert all monitoring applications from Windows Server to Linux Server environment to increase stability.
