I work for Tobermore Concrete Products, the market leaders in paving in Ireland. My role involves securing specifications for our range of Concrete Paving, Hydropave Permeable Paving, Flag Paving and Secura SRW system. I advise both internally and externally on technical issues relating to all of our product range as well as Product Specification and Installation. I advise architects, engineers and contrcators on the correct design and installation of our Hydropave Permeable Paving SUDS system. My expierience was gained by working closely with and learning from Professor John Knapton over a number of years. I was co-author with John on two Hydropave Permeable Paving technical papers for the 8th and 9th International Concrete Block Paving Conferences in San Francisco and Buenos Aires. I was also involved in a full scale testing trial at Tobermore's head office.I have 17 years experience carrying out technical RIBA approved CPD presentations to large and small groups of architects, landscape architects and engineers.I have been involved in a wide range of commercial projects including, Environmental Improvement Schemes, Schools, Social Housing Schemes, Retail Shopping Centres, Hospitals, and Sports Arenas.*Responsible for account retention, growth and new business development in Northern Ireland.*Support and advice provided to architects, government agencies, local authorities, main contractors, paving contractors and sub contractors.*Technical expertise provided for a range of products, block paving, permeable block paving and Segmental retaining Walling systems.*Technical support provided on a project specific basis. Bespoke designs provided via third party engineers, on- site training / advice given to contractors.*Developing new sales strategies and campaigns to support increased activity, productivity, customer satisfaction and market penetration.*Large group presentations in the form of CPD's*Involved in in-house training for other colleagues
