I'm currently the Director of Engineering at Mon Ami and I have over 18 years of experience in software development.I develop and implement our technical architecture to ensure we can consistently and sustainably evolve our platform to adapt to our changing needs. I believe strongly in developing team talent through direct mentorship which I practice trough pair programming and regular peer code reviews. In addition to high level architecture and team development, I also do day to day feature development and Cloud Operations work (mostly AWS) to keep our sites and services running reliably.In my prior roles at the Air Force Research Lab and Caring.com I had opportunities to develop and apply machine learning technologies, because of that experience I'm always looking for opportunities to strategically leverage machine learning techniques to make data driven improvements.TL;DR I really like to build software systems and teach others how.
