He has held faculty positions at Caltech, Carnegie Mellon University, Macquarie and Flinders Universities. His formal management education occurred at the AGSM and Harvard Business School.In the Australia Day Honours List of 2016, he was awarded an AO, Officer of the Order of Australia.
