Serving as Associate Principal and national Director of Digital Experience Design, I lead a team at the intersection of architecture, engineering, and technology. At Clark & Enersen, we collaborate with our clients through a full-service holistic approach to our A/E practice, providing innovative, responsive, and reliable architectural, engineering, and technology design. Digital Experience Design encompasses planning and design for network-based low-voltage integrated communications technologies (ICT), including audiovisual (communication and collaboration), IT/Telecom (connection), electronic security (confidence), and intelligent building systems (coherence) that are core to today's occupant expectations for positive, purposeful, professional and productive interactions with their cohorts, clients, and their communities.We focus on improving our clients' digital experience --- connection, collaboration, and communication --- environments across markets spanning education, civic/government, cultural, healthcare, and workplace facilities. Our efforts deliver innovative solutions that responsibly address client needs and budgets and deliver high-performance results. We understand the importance of developing a strategic technology vision and that collaborative engagement realizes measurable and enduring value for our clients. We provide insights into emerging technology, space and systems functional and performance planning, and strategies to meet long-term client-driven use-case objectives.As a volunteer, I serve as the board chair of the South Carolina Architectural Foundation and as the editor of the Technology+Trends column for APPA Facilities Manager magazine.In my private practice, CatalystFactor Consulting, I serve the AEC industry as a prolific author, speaker, and strategic advisor for leadership development and agile frameworks for improving the results of marketing, client engagement, and supporting technology implementation.
