About Craig Plain

With over 20 years of experience in healthcare, services, manufacturing, and public sector, I am a leader in process improvement, training, operations, and communications. I am a certified Black Belt and a functional Master Black Belt in Lean and Six Sigma methodologies, and I have a PhD in Adult Education and Public Administration. As a Project Director and Process Improvement/Training Consultant at Koniag Government Services, I execute multiple roles for contracts supporting the FDA and HHS, as well as for Koniag, an Alaskan Native Corporation with shareholders in the Native community on Kodiak Island. I have worked with multiple federal agencies on quality improvement, business process re-engineering, and training projects. I also teach performance improvement, quality management, and human resource development courses as an Adjunct Professor at Purdue University's Polytechnic Institute. Additionally, I run my own consulting company, The Tangent Consulting Company LLC, where I have provided innovative and practical solutions that have driven results for Fortune 500 and government accounts.
