In addition, over time I have also built and managed partner relationships for Tipalti in other ecosystems including GSI, Accounting firms, banks and consultants.

I hired and managed a team of 10 Partnership Directors responsible for establishing new alliances for Elavon. Our team’s focus was on developing these relationships across a range of ecosystems including point-of-sale vendors, GSIs, consultants and MSPs. My personal focus area was on establishing relationships with venture capital, private equity and other firms who invest in early stage, growing software and services firms. The overall goal was to build these new integrated partnerships from early stages to position Elavon and US Bank as the premier payments and banking partner across a range of industries.

Heartland Payment Systems (NYSE:HPY) was acquired by Global Payments Inc. (NYSE:GPN) in April 2016 for US$4.3 Billion. Just prior to this event, the SmartLink business unit was acquired by EchoSat Inc., a leading provider of network solutions and connectivity services, based in Lexington, KY. In my general management role of the SmartLink business, I led the business operationally for 3+ years as a member of the executive leadership team at Heartland, culminating in managing the due diligence process, sale and business transition of SmartLink to EchoSat. I held several leadership roles at First Data, including management of a team responsible for several point-of-sale and payment solutions for global markets. Prior to this, I was the initial member of new First Data eCommerce team where I hired and led our eCommerce partnership team. My first role at FD was continuing to manage the overall Datawire business post acquisition under First Data ownership, where we grew it to over 450,000 merchant locations and 900 million transactions per month. FD was acquired by KKR during this period.

Datawire was acquired by First Data in Feb 2007. My responsibility at Datawire was focused on establishing, growing and managing the overall First Data and related bank channel relationships. I began pre-revenue at Datawire and led this key relationship from inception until the company sale for US$43 Million in 2007. During my tenure, we grew First Data to be over 70% of overall corporate revenues for Datawire. I was a key member of the deal team that sold the business and was retained by First Data post acquisition to manage the business unit.
