The purpose of the project was to produce a stratigraphic guide location of asbestiform mineral zones (map the existence of crocidolite - blue asbestos bands) associated with the green fields deposit prior to commencement of mining operations. The project was successful and provided valuable data to mine planning engineers to manage the potential of encountering asbestos material during mining operations. I co-authored a 78 page report with appendices 1,2, 3 & 4The report detailed the General Geology, Work Program , Dust Sampling Program, Laboratory Methods and Results, Specific Results, Discussion of Results and Conclusions and RecommendationsThe deposit was developed into a mining operation and continues to operate to this day.
