Craig Rayner – General Practice Owner/Practice Manager, QIP Assessor – General Practice, Educator – Leadership & Management, Education Policy - International An experienced education and health professional, Craig offers a unique combination of nearly 32 years' experience in teaching and program coordination, expertise in education/General Practice policy interpretation and application, business management and financial administration. He has established and managed a successful medical clinic since 2015. Craig punctuated his teaching career with a second Masters’ qualification in Education Policy (International) from the highly regarded Melbourne Graduate School of Education at Melbourne University. In 2021 he became qualified as QIP Assessor with AGPAL (Australian General Practice Accreditation Limited).Over the course of his career - as a teacher/education leader, and Practice Manager – Craig witnessed the impact continuous quality improvement and innovation combined with well calibrated policy setting have on effective change in practical education and health settings. In an increasingly globalised world and digitally connected landscape, he has been part of the paradigm shift, where adaptation and innovation is essential.He has established productive working relationships with stakeholders across the education and health sectors and gained valuable transferable skills in program coordination and delivery. Craig has led professional development initiatives and fostered a collaborative approach to supporting strategic direction by bringing together stakeholders across the education and primary health spectrum.Since 2015, he has continued to build his skill set by taking on extra responsibilities as Practice Manager and Operations lead for Keilor Village Medical Practice, which has provided an outlet for his commercial interests and business acumen to flourish. It has been a natural transition for Craig to pursue a career path in Health that combines the two areas. Craig lives in the bayside suburbs of Melbourne with his wife (a General Practitioner) and four daughters, and enjoys running, triathlon, fundraising and developing sponsorship opportunities for the South Melbourne Life Saving Club.
