    I was one of the founder members of WDS, and an Executive Board member. The company was acquired by Xerox in 2012 and operated as part of the Xerox Services Telecommunications and Technology group. It then operated as part of the Conduent family, and subsequently the software assets have been acquired by Volaris Group WDS optimized the customer experience for mobile brands. We did this by viewing the CX as a process, and as with all processes, they can be measured, managed and improved. This was done through embedding a CX platform (GlobalMine) into our customers, and then offering a series of managed services that aim to control and optimize the experience. In my role of Chief Product & Marketing Officer, I looked after our brand marketing, product & customer strategy, innovation, customer consulting, knowledge management, the technology & IP portfolio as well as technical operations. I was responsible for the WDS Partner program (technology & reseller) including Gemalto, Alcatel Lucent and HP.Essentially, my role was to future-proof what we do as a business by analyzing markets, our customers and technologies, and working out what we need to do in order to address forthcoming market trends. In addition to CMO duties, I also fulfilled CIO requirements of the business, overseeing IT and Product Engineering functions.
