Assessed sequenced viral genome using Genious, highlighting specific amino-acid escape patterns utilized by SHIV-envelope binding proteins as well as highly conserved target areas.• Affectively isolated infectious plasma and peripheral blood mononuclear cells (PBMCs) from SHIV-infected blood samples each week. Documented collection and storage of each sample group using LabVantage.• Generated a variety of SHIV mutant viruses and regularly performed viral titration assays and viral transfections. Analyzed antibody breadth and potency through neutralization assays then presented results during weekly lab meetings.

• Utilized large-scale bioreactor fermentation in the upstream manufacturing process of a monoclonal antibody therapy. Scaled-up CHO cell cultures employing aseptic cell manipulations within a sterile seed lab, prepared cell media, and performed routine upkeep of bioreactors and other equipment.• Aseptically collected raw materials, analyzed gas and metabolic data to verify parameter compliance, and performed daily cell counts. Prepared a variety of sterile samples utilizing centrifugation and incubation methods.• Facilitated several new-hire training presentations covering GMP standards and data integrity. Led a group of 8 trainees through regular technical sessions demonstrating proper safety and execution of upstream processes.
