Prior to the formal campaign, I worked with the candidate to prepare for policy and campaign questions by developing a database of questions and answers, which would later serve as the basis for the candidate's position on policy issues. During the campaign I led the development of a number of policy positions including a three pronged transit plan to implement both local and city-wide improvements in service, the development of a youth engagement strategy, and I coordinated a team of researchers to develop a white paper on road tolls for consideration as part of the formal platform. I also provided feedback and support on communication plans and materials and canvassed on behalf of the candidate, speaking to constituents about policy issues.

As a part of Ipsos Reid’s Health Policy Institute, I specialized in providing quantitative research support to a variety of public sector clients. I was involved in all stages of the research process from writing proposals and developing project plans, to producing comprehensive reports and delivering engaging presentations. At each stage I worked collaboratively with my clients to design research projects that met their needs and that produced the data necessary to make evidence based policy and program related decisions.
