About Craig Serra
Hello! I've been in the pharmaceutical industry for over 20 years in the areas of clinical development, clinical technology, digital, innovation, strategy, and business management. My education spans psychology, management, information systems, and clinical pharmacology in a personal effort to deeply understand people, technology, and science to get medicine to people who need them.Being very fortunate to work for some great companies and inspiring leaders, I've experienced mid and large pharma, as well as the small and large CRO world. After establishing a foundation in data operations and biometrics, my interests and experiences evolved to the digital space, clinical innovation, risk based monitoring, data science, organizational development, and most recently, the impact of COVID-19 on clinical trials. I work to take a 21st century view of the clinical trial world. We all get wrapped up in buzzwords and acronyms - "patient centricity," "innovation," "AI" - but these are things that will fundamentally change a system in need of different thinking, fresh approaches, and passion for change. In addition to my professional presentations and authorship, I have served on the boards of Castor EDC, the Cristian Rivera Foundation (pediatric cancer), and Society for Clinical Data Management (SCDM). Additionally, I present in conferences and now virtual panels, as well as advise investors and doing some angel investing myself.I enjoy the opportunity to connect with colleagues in pharmaceutical industry. Please feel free to contact me directly so we can talk.Craig craig.serra@gmail.com
