I am a Chartered Accountant and recently completed a term as the Chief Operating Officer and Chief Finance Officer for KPMG's Management Consulting Division.I also lead KPMG’s Costing and Profitability Analysis advisory services team and based in Canberra. I have extensive costing and modelling experience, including project life cycle costing, Military preparedness costing, program costing, activity based costing and pricing, and workforce planning modelling. My experience has included developing individual life cycle costs as part of the project development phase, procurement and tender evaluation as well as the development of a number of tailored costing and cost and cash flow management models.My experience also includes broader financial management services such as the provision of business viability, feasibility and due diligence advice as well as modelling, capability development, procurement and program advisory services to a wide range of entities, specialising in the provision of services to Federal and State/Territory government agencies.I have also lead a range of business case development, strategy, governance and structural adjustment engagements.I’m strongly committed to the growth and development of Canberra and the surrounding region. I was a director of the Canberra Business Chamber, the organisation representing over 30 industries within the ACT and region, and former Director and President of its former organisation, the Canberra Business Council. I was also the Chairman of the Canberra Institute of Technology and CIT Solutions Pty Limited and have a strong passion of ensuring the VET sector works closely with the world class universities in Canberra (the learning Capital of Australia) in developing tomorrow's workforce that will meet the needs of Canberra and the region.
