With more than a decade of transactional experience, I routinely negotiate and draft a variety of professional agreements involving domestic and international parties, including manufacturing, distribution, licensing, endorsement, joint venture, service, employment, commercial real estate leases, settlements and releases, and other business transactional agreements. I work with clients to understand their businesses in an effort to help them achieve their goals while minimizing risk.Part of my practice is devoted to the representation of dietary supplement and sports nutritional supplement companies. I provide legal counsel to clients on matters that affect their compliance with the Federal Food, Drug, and Cosmetic Act. I also counsel clients on intellectual property protection including trademarks and copyrights, consumer complaints and lawsuits, as well as general transactional needs.Based on my management of clients’ global IP portfolios, I have experience in formulating, implementing, and executing brand protection strategies and enforcing clients’ intellectual property rights on a worldwide basis. Such strategies include trademark clearance, prosecution and licensing, as well as assistance against copyright and trademark infringers. I also advise clients on how to best protect their intellectual property, and other related areas including unfair competition and the right of publicity.
