• 340B: Overall management of federally regulated program. Championed team in accounting department responsible for compliance audits as well as managing accounts receivable and accounts payable.o Compliance: Independent auditor returned zero findings of concern for compliance in program.o Growth: Grew the program from the ground up to $8M in revenue utilizing multiple contract pharmacies. Equates to approximately 30% of overall revenue for organization. Despite drug manufacturers putting limits on program, was able to increase net revenue through contract negotiations as well as program adjustments. Increasing net revenue for one contract pharmacy by 15% ($200k) annually.• Pharmacist as a Provider: Centene credentialed PHS pharmacists, we agreed on CPT billing codes and created a twelve-disease state collaborative practice agreement which outlined scope of pharmacists’ practice. Scheduled patients for office and virtual visits in between visits with PCP. Provider status passed in OH and our pharmacists were some of the first in the state to become credentialed with OH Medicaid and the five Medicaid MCOs. Our pharmacists were reimbursed from the MCOs as well as from Medicaid for the balance of the PPS rate. Our pharmacists were reimbursed same as any other medical provider in practice.• PGY2 site Coordinator: Joint venture with University of Cincinnati College of Pharmacy and PHS. Designed the one-year program and hired first resident. Received accreditation from ASHP and hired second resident. Both residents have presented projects nationally at APhA’s convention as well as at the state level at the OH Pharmacists Association annual meetings.
