I have loved boxing since I can remember. I don't like getting hit in the face too much, so working on the safe side of the ropes for me suits me well.I set the intention in 2012 to become the go to guy for graphic design work for boxing in the UK. Specifically I set out to improve the look and feel of boxing promotions posters under the brand boxing poster.co.uk. For many years I worked on small hall and white collar boxing shows, at many times almost giving up, up until 2022, got into positions to produce promotional artwork for Hannah Rankin's world title defence at the OVO in Glasgow and regularly working on professional fight night posters.My aim to do professional visuals for the up and coming grass roots fighter and shows. For so long we have seen one or two promoters at the top with all the TV deals, giving the most marketable names all of the top graphics. I project managed and developed McNairs offline and online marketing projects. Much of this is centered around the build, development, design and search performance of mcnairs.co.uk.When I came on board at McNairs, they had struggled for 5 years previous to overcome some technical challenges to get their business online and selling their products. After some months planning and overcoming said challenges, sorting and optimising around 5000 product lines, ranging from landscape & garden to timber, cements & aggregates onto plumbing, I got them online and selling.From a standing start the website has produced amazing results in terms of visitors and conversions. All investment in the project for the 5 years before I started was returned in a few months and mcnairs is now the best performing online builders merchant anywhere near Glasgow.

Kingfisher are a leading building chemical manufacturer in the UK.I managed all aspects of online and offline marketing and digital development of their e-commerce platform.I took the business from turning over £200k online to £650k online by effective SEO and PPC management.In my time at the company I also managed all Health & Safety of the CLP regulations brought into place for 2016, this involved building and technically managing the new data sheets for all products and product label management.

I was involved in the foundation and development of K20 Technology which started in one small office with 3 of us as IT engineers, we later rebranded to Stratiis, now a leading technology and IT security provider in Scotland.In my time with the company I set up many of the network monitoring and IT support remote management systems to remotely support, technically manage and maintain around 10000 users IT systems.From the ground up I was involved in the development of the business, which was invaluable experience at a young age to operate within a successful start up.Over my time with Stratiis I was one part of the marine and oil, IT management team. On behalf of Stena and other major oil and gas companies, we were contracted to install and maintain on board IT network and communications systems. This involved traveling all over the world to the likes of the Middle East, China, South Korea, Singapore and all over Europe.We installed fleet broadband (VSAT) services, connecting the ships on board equipment to our IT system we put in place for the crew. We also set up and configured Audio Visual entertainment systems for the crew and ship visitors.

I was drafted into the Marine IT Technical Department within Northern Marine/Stena to facilitate the install and maintenance of onboard IT systems on Oil Tankers and other Vessels.As well as network install, I installed and configured fleet broadband to essentially upgrade the vessels from dial up Internet connection.On shore I was involved in Server side maintenance and management to support thousands of Sea going staff.I attended vessels across Asia, Middle Easy and throughout Europe during this project.

I joined Teekay on a contract to provide technical assistance and deployment of new on-board systems to Oil Tankers, Platforms and Ferries all over the world.Shore side I remotely managed and supported sea going officers with their IT equipment while on board as well as Teekay Glasgow office staff.
