Both were done in support of providing Florida Power & Light customers with unparalleled, uninterrupted reliable electrical service.• Completed over seventy new Plan and Profile drawings for large-scale Duct Bank projects in the heavily congested underground streets of Miami Beach. These completed initiatives provided detailed placement of more than 27,500 feet (5.2 miles) of new duct bank and identified an anticipated expenditure of 77,500 construction man hours.• Enhanced and created new processes and strategies that better contain design costs and allow more timely production of permit drawings. Results leveraged a combination of As Built drawings requested from the city, existing FPL drawings, Google EC, Google Maps and inputs from the Miami-Dade property appraiser’s office all brought seamlessly together through the application of enhanced AutoCAD functionality.

Coordinated the work flow of four separate but interdependent contractors, multiple equipment vendors, quality control and the client; readying systems for test and turn over. Supervised the day-to-day work of eighty foreign workers spanning four contractors.

Worked directly under the Site Engineering Manager providing procurement and construction management services.• Computer Simulation and Modeling – Gained proficiency in the application of Shaw's SmartPlant 3D modeling software. Leveraged the model to identify issues and to provide project visibility to the client. • Hydrostatic Test Management – Assembled over 600 hydrostatic test packages containing all associated P&IDs, isometrics, equipment and pipe support details, line lists and blind lists. Identified and noted the test boundaries on nearly 6,000 isometric drawings. • Project Management – Scheduled and actively monitored all hydrostatic testing across multiple contractors from creation, technical services walk down, hydro pre-test, hydro test, flush, restoration and post walk down to completion. Scheduled paint, heat trace and insulation contractors.• Vessel Inspections – Performed over 600 vessel tray inspections ensuring all sieve trays, weirs, clips and down comers were level and met design tolerances. Secured necessary Hole Watch permitting to allow work within the projects confined spaces.• Field Inspections - Conducted field walk downs to insure compliance of all in-process piping work. Created punch/work lists to aid in final restoration. Prepared and responded to RFIs and FWOs. • Field Engineering – Integrated applicable codes and standards with company policies/procedures to produce a comprehensive set of design requirements. Red-lined drawings to show as-build and test conditions.• Document Control – Created an organized binder for each of the following: concrete placement reports, comprehensive strength reports, DCRs, RFIs, piping specification details, tie-ins and piping modifications.
