The major accountabilities for this role are to manage revenue, balance sheet in, profit and loss and liquidity in relation to sustainable growth and return on equity in alignment with Westpac’s philosophy, values, strategies and business plans for the Pacific Island Nations. (PINS)The key areas of focus include driving the Pacific Banking strategic priorities and initiatives for the PINS including:Making it easy to do business;• Drive the delivery of key strategic initiatives to ensure Pacific banking is established as number one leader in customer advocacyDeepening relationships with our customers • Grow our customers with 4 or more products in our priority segments.• Customer Management and increasing customer advocacy through deepening the breadth of the relationship (sales and service) and longevity;Building a strong reputation• Build our reputation through our focus on retail banking and electronic channels enabling us to reach the unbanked and under-banked rural communities across the Pacific Region.Leadership and performance • Building a high performance culture through recruiting and retaining the best people, empowerment, and accountability, development, coaching and mentoring.Risk Management • Credit, Operational, Market & Reputation – Ensure the effective management of overall business risk and achievement of ethical, compliant and responsible business performance and standards.Westpac Representation and Leadership• Active leadership participation with all stakeholders, including embassies and diplomatic missions, industry groups, regulators and governments for the 5 PINS.

• Strategic leadership and direction setting across the entire business • Provision of timely and accurate financial and management reporting to the Pacific Banking business. This includes presenting and interpreting information to facilitate informed business decisions. • Balance sheet management and Treasury trading management, including the setting of interest rates for each Pacific Banking location• Project control and governance for all initiatives being implemented within each Pacific Bank location.

• Leadership of the Treasury finance team to ensure provision of accurate and timely information to the Group Treasury leadership team, facilitating correct business decisions. The team is a group of 22 finance professionals.• The Securitisation team operates as the Trust Manager for the various Securitisation Trusts. Finance partner with the business in the establishment of new transactions and are then responsible for ensuring the ongoing operation and accounting of the Trusts, including external reporting.• Accurate and timely production of Profit and Loss and Balance sheet reporting and verification for the various trading businesses divisions within Treasury. This includes ensuring the accuracy of data contained within the GL, along with planning, forecasting, budgeting, and hedge accounting, for all geographies.

• Implementation of the Asia Pacific Business Area Controlling function for Treasury. • Treasury Budget preparation for Asia Pacific region, by country and cost centre. (13 countries). • Develop Regional and Local Asset & Liability Committee (ALCO) reports (Group Board reporting for each country individually and for Asia Group ALCO). • Regional implementation of Global Treasury policies including FX sell down, P/L remittance, and Capital Funding charge.• Development and co-ordination of accurate and timely management reporting in relation to Issuance programs throughout the region.• Various Liquidity and Capital reporting projects in conjunction with local Treasurers

• Preparation and analysis of the Daily Trading profit and loss for proprietary trading desks including Short Product trading, Repo trading, & Liquidity trading and various issuance programs maintained by the Treasury division. • Daily limit risk reporting for trading desks.• Monthly management Balance sheet and Profit & Loss preparation and reconciliation. • Independent Inventory valuation to ensure validity and accuracy of the portfolio valuation
