I am solutions driven and a problem solver. I have always looked for challenging opportunities that will push me to be my best at all times. Solving the needs of people impacted by the solutions that we implement is the key motivation in what I try to contribute. During my time in Healthcare IT, I have worked on State projects to replace, enhance, and/or streamline systems that are accessed my millions within the State’s Medicaid program. I have been a part of system modernizations that improved automation, business processes and performance measurements across the program resulting in significant cost savings. I most recently managed one of the first federal certifications of an Encounter Processing System in the State of NC. The system is the backbone of the Managed Care Transition that the State was legislated to undertake. I manage a team of Certification specialists which requires extensive knowledge of multiple functional areas and the ability to translate business owner processes into system requirements. I play a role in every phase of the System Design Lifecycle (SDLC) to ensure that the State will achieve the requested funding for each project. I work with various stakeholders from Business owners, Solutions Architects, Privacy & Security specialists, Product Managers, Vendors, and Federal partners.
