After 6 years working closely with the leisure and consumer industry I finally took the plunge and switched sectors. Communicate (Europe) Ltd. are recognised by their clients as affable, insightful and available. They specialise in marketing, publishing, print and digital for the FMCG, professional services (legal/financial) and scientific sectors delivering on the bottom line through marketing thinking and insight that works.My key responsibilities within the company are:- Create high end graphical content for the publications we produce.- Create GUIs for the online and app content whilst working closely with the team of developers.- Collaborate with the team of designers, editors, developers and copywriters on a variety of projects.- Help develop the companies brand around a strong creative presence.- Oversee the print and reprographics leaving the studio to ensure a smooth transition through the production house into the consumers hands.

Initially I joined UYR as a local level Graphic Designer having been noticed for the work I was doing with Barflya. During my time here my design abilities have gone from strength to strength allowing me to play an integral part in the growth of the company. This in turn allowed me to head up projects for some of our major clients within my first 6 months and consequently, lead to me being offered the role of Studio Manager at the start of the year. As Studio Manager, I oversee all projects within the leisure side of the business as well as managing and delegating the day to day local level work load for the designers within my team. Working closely with the marketing teams of the likes of Luminar Leisure, Intertain, Atmosphere Bars and Clubs, Stonegate and No Saints has allowed me to gain an insight into the other side of the coin so to speak. I now further understand the marketing techniques and sales drivers which are implemented throughout the campaigns we produce allowing me to design with interpretation and the way it works in mind, not just aesthetics.Key Strengths: Studio Management, Print Production, Art Direction, Graphic Design, Typography, Image Manipulation and Branding & Identity.
