The fraternity and sorority community at Miami University has one of the richest Greek traditions in the nation, recognized by many as the "Mother of Fraternites." With one of the oldest, largest Greek communities, Miami Greeks are continually being honored for their academic, philanthropic, athletic, leadership, community, and social achievements on the campus, local, and national levels. As Vice President of Programming, I was in charge of organization and operation of the 62th annual Greek Week. The week and a half series of events had approximately 50 organizations and 3,000 participants and utilized a $25,000 budget to cover everything from equipment rentals to insurance for participants. Other responsibilities of the Vice President of Programming include; liaising with the Office of Recreational Sports and Goggin Ice Center which regards to fraternity intramural sports, coordinating speakers and seminars for the Fraternity/Sorority community and serving on 2nd Year Advisory Committee to develop specific programming.
