I have been two main industries through my career; automotive and natural gas. I enjoy being hands on and at the spot for issues, and enjoy new challenges.I spent eight months doing two co-op rotations at Ariel Corporation and gained much exposure in the natural gas industry by both understanding the market, application types, and overall manufacturing methods of compressors.The past six years of my career have been involved at Honda of America Manufacturing. Through this time, I’ve developed my Quality Engineering skills substantially. I’ve been exposed to many suppliers in many different commodities within the automotive industry (electronics, stamping & welding, brazing, pipe bending, just to name a few). Due to having such a large exposure, my root cause skills are very well rounded.I’ve been involved with a significant amount of trouble shooting, both at suppliers and internally at Honda. I have found that being hands on to confirm that root cause has been identified and validate that the countermeasure is effective, ensures that there wont be a repeat issue.I have become well versed in the Microsoft suite of applications. Specifically, I have several years of Excel VBA programming. I’ve developed many macros that have improved efficiency by automating data for analysis or to have a dashboard display feature. I’ve also led several projects with Moxie and Tableau to develop dashboards for associates to use and drive action based off of different KPIs.
