Cranston Dornbaus is a fictional character created by MCAD's Marketing class to test how effective our social media marketing campaign is in a google search.My name is Cranston Dornbaus and I originally come from New York City. I am currently a student at the Minneapolis College of Art & Design focusing in Photography. My most recent work has been focusing on the Twin Cities local and sustainable food community. This interest stemmed from summer visits to my grandparents farm in southern Minnesota. My summer visits included helping my grandmother can vegetables from the garden as well as helping my grandfather harvest crops. Taking my love of photography and my grandparent’s sense of self-sustainability I was able to start documenting local farmer’s markets and community gardens for the Wedge’s advertising purposes and for my own pleasure. I also started the Green Club at MCAD, which involves educating elementary school children about sustainability, helping with community gardens, and volunteering at local farmer’s markets.Specialties: Sustainable Food Photography, focused on the Twin Cities.
