I am dedicated to helping solve our climate crisis. I bring to this challenge over 15 years of climate experience across multiple verticals (e.g. solar, circular economy), locations (Silicon Valley, Luxembourg, Seattle), and roles (e.g. GM, advisor, and investor). I believe strongly that climate impact and financial returns are not mutually exclusive.I started SMB Climate to invest in small to medium-sized companies that are doing the hard work of implementing the climate technology available today. This segment is underappreciated and underfunded, yet critical to us attaining our global goal of net zero carbon emissions.Prior to SMB Climate, I was an investor and portfolio manager for Amazon's $2B Climate Pledge Fund where I invested in companies such as Redwood Materials (battery recycling), CarbonCure (low-carbon concrete), Infinium (low-carbon fuel), and other Climate Tech companies. Previously, I was the global GM for Amazon Renewed (circular economy), helped launched Amazon Home Services, and was a VP at two solar startups. I currently live outside of Seattle with my amazing wife and energetic kids.

I launched multiple customer and selling partner products and experiences (e.g. Amazon Guarantee, Premium, quality management, etc.), rebranded the program, scaled the business to 11 countries (from US only), and delivered multiple-billion dollars in annual sales (up 9x from when I took over the GM role).
