My role as Head of Charity 2023 included liaising with our chosen charity Freedom4Girls, a charity working tirelessly to end period poverty in North England and areas of East Africa. My role further included creating fundraising events throughout the year, including hosting a 'talk and Q&A session' with Freedom4girls. This year we are proud to have raised over £18.5k for an amazing cause.

Zero Gravity is an organisation that helps students in the UK from low income backgrounds achieve their goals of being accepted into top universities. The role includes encouraging academic extension, running mock seminars, aiding with the UCAS application process, help with interview and assessment practice and general mentoring.

Greater Accra, Ghana

Internship in the projects abroad human rights office included researching and writing presentations on human rights issues, running focus groups on patient rights and responsibilities, and forced child marriage, leading seminars on female empowerment alongside charity 'achievers' and conducting interviews with healthcare professionals and Christian community leaders.
