I advised the President and senior leaders of the Mint by identifying and managing sensitive issues with advice and messaging. One of my favourite responsibilities was leading the ideation, development and Governor in Council approval processes for commemorative circulation $1 and $2 coins.

Traveled to more than 25 countries to uncover wrongdoing, report breaking news and cover the activities of Canadian Prime Ministers at international summits such as APEC, La francophonie, G7 and G20 meetings.Through my coverage at the Parliamentary Bureau I developed specific expertise in Canada's courts, the RCMP, the Department of Public Safety and Liberal Party.In addition to mentoring new reporters through the Canadian Association of Journalists, I also served as a member of the Parliamentary Press Gallery's media committees for the Federal and Supreme Courts.
