My professional career started at Allegheny College in my work study program with the Creating Landscapes for Families Organization. I worked every aspect from greeting and doing dishes, to coordinating lesson plans and dinner fundraisers. When I started coordinating the afterschool program activities, I saw holes in community investment and processes and procedures. In my senior year I worked to create effective processes that engaged the community and college to grow the program's sustainability. The Creating Landscapes for Families Organization steered me towards my first job after college with AmeriCorps.AmeriCorps:My 1st position involved creating a Financial and Employment Education Program in the Meadville Area Middle School. In the year I was in that role, I established connections with Junior Achievement of Western Pennsylvania and One Federal Credit Union to provide manageable lesson plans, job education, and job experience for students that didn't impact the school's structure or finances. My 2nd position involved growing the capacity of a Youth Community Service Program at Allegheny College. I grew the volunteer capacity and sustainability by working directly with college students to create a leadership team that handled generating college and local youth volunteers, developing community service projects, and creating partnerships with local organizations.Savin Engineers P.C.: I started as the Receptionist for the company and grew my knowledge base surrounding the Construction Industry. I was promoted to a Project Administrator due to my diligent work ethic and was given the greater task of analyzing the current processes and procedures and updating them to create a more streamlined workflow. I worked directly with every level of clientele from Contractors to Board Members managing Invoices, Change Orders, RFI's, Contract Amendments, Document Control, Meeting Minutes, Reports, Insurance Compliance, etc.Li-Cycle Inc.:Today I work as the Field Contracts Administrator for the North American Hub project. With this project, high quality end products (Lithium, Nickel, Cobalt, etc.) will be able to be reused in various industries. With this project, closing the end-of-life loop of lithium ion batteries will lead to a more sustainable future.
