Jocelyn Elizabeth, known as the Crazy Lamp Lady, sells thousands of antiques and collectibles to customers worldwide. She films her experiences of discovering undervalued wares at antique malls, thrift stores, and flea markets for audiences on Facebook and YouTube. As of July 2023, she has over 500k followers across all social media platforms. She was first introduced to the concept of reselling in 2011. Her father brought home an old, dusty lamp from a yard sale and she was surprised to discover his five-dollar investment was worth seventy dollars on eBay. This moment sparked the idea of buying and reselling undervalued items for a profit–an idea that would resonate for years to come. In the following years, what started as a part-time side hustle to pay for diapers snowballed into a full-time business. Her passion for discovering and reselling secondhand treasures evolved beyond lamps. And in 2016, Jocelyn started sharing her thrifting and picking on Youtube under the moniker Crazy Lamp Lady. The videos helped propel Crazy Lamp Lady into a successful, seven-figure business. Her daily content takes viewers to thrift stores, antique malls, and flea markets. During the videos, she shares her years of reselling knowledge and explains why some items are better for resale than others--while also picking up items for her own reselling business. The goal of her videos is to teach others about reselling while also promoting her online business. She regularly interacts with her audience, reading their comments, and taking their feedback to heart.Jocelyn sells on Ebay, Whatnot, and through a local antique mall booth.
