I believe that entrepreneurship drives the world forward, which has led me to focus my career on financing and supporting disruptive founders, startups, and technologies, with a particular focus on ClimateTech.As a Senior Vice President with HSBC Innovation Banking's Early-Stage Practice in London, I help my ambitious clients navigate their banking and financing needs to reach their next round faster. In this role I bring several years of startup operator and investor experience to the table, drawing on a broad network to help increase each client's probability of success in scaling to their next phase of growth. I started my career building and working in Canadian technology startups, later relocating to Switzerland in 2017 to advance the corporate investment initiatives of leading financial organizations through Fusion, a Swiss accelerator and venture builder. After developing a deep interest in venture capital, I worked as an experienced associate for an emerging DeepTech venture capital fund. As the first dedicated hire I led much of the due diligence process, originating 8 seed investments and supporting the execution of an additional 15. I also developed portfolio modelling tools and analysis based on the fund's strategy to support the fundraising process, having written my master's thesis on VC portfolio construction.I am always on the hunt to find what no-one else is talking about.
