With the “Transfer of Business” from Optus to Visionstream I took up a Deployment Engineer's role on the Optus Wireless Project which is essentially the same role as I held at Optus continuing the Extended Joint Venture Deployment Project. The main tasks are to review site designs & supply feedback, manage material ordering & on time material delivery, arrange permits to work & engineering orders, give technical support to both internal & external stakeholders, monitor site build progress. Once each site is completed a quality audit of the site is done & a list of rectification items sent & monitored to the Field Supervisor.
