• Led the technical team renegotiating the first settlement with the EPA associatedwith their New Source Review initiative.
• Reduced overall Energy Supply personnel by 10% achieving savings ofapproximately $1 million per year.

• Responsible for the engineering, construction, and commissioning of the Polk Power Station,a 250MW integrated gasification combined-cycle facility.
• Led negotiations with the U.S. Department of Energy securing $150 million offunding for the project.
• Completed project on schedule and under budget.
• Facility has generated more electricity from clean coal technology than any plant inthe world.
• Named the cleanest coal-fired power plant in North America in 2005 by “EnergyProbe,” a Canadian research foundation.
