I help others sharpen their project management skills. When I first started leading projects in 2011, there was a huge gap between where my skills were and where they needed to be. My shortcomings led to some of the following:• Projects being behind schedule• Ineffective communications between team members • Ineffective communications to senior management• Improper risk management. I was eventually guided to the Project Management Institute and their project management professional (PMP) certification. In 2016, I spent time studying for the exam and was able pass it on my first attempt. Doing so helped me close that skills gap significantly. Not only did I improve on my project management skills, but peers began to come to me for advice on their projects. It felt nice to be able to help in whatever way I could.I want to help others close their skills gaps. If that means your goal is to receive guidance on getting your project back on track or if you’re someone looking to sit for the PMP exam, reach out to me and let’s make it happen.
