Neil Goldberg Email and Phone Number
After 20 years of building and operating companies in social media, entertainment, tech, and real estate, I realized it was time to climb a new ladder. While Iโm extremely grateful to have experienced success and failure as a CEO, COO, and CRO, structuring deals with companies including Facebook, Google, Warner Bros., Microsoft, BlackRock, and many others, I could no longer ignore my need to find a deeper sense of purpose and value. It took me a few years to really trust myself and understand what that meant exactly, but I finally figured it out. Today, I am focused on the intersection of work, well-being, and purpose. I coach and train executives and teams on achieving the balance we need as individuals, organizations, and society. I still enjoy helping entrepreneurs turn their ideas into profitable businesses, but my true joy is helping people to act in alignment with their highest purpose and potential. In addition to my consultancy, I serve as a board member for the American Red Cross in Los Angeles and volunteer with numerous global non-profits. As a certified meditation facilitator, I have the honor of leading practice for a diverse group of people including students, parents, seniors, and C-level executives. As for the ladder I climbed, here are the headlines: 2015-2018 I ran capital markets and investor relations for Cypress Equity Investments, a multibillion-dollar real estate company focused on multi-family development. 2000 to 2015, I worked with various Silicon Valley technology and social media companies. My favorite was SayNow, an app-based social media company connecting fans with celebrities. We became the #1 voice-based social network and were acquired by Google.Previously: I was COO at Akimbo, a SaaS-based content distribution platform acquired by Hearst Media. I founded On Demand Media Group, an international consultancy for telco & mobile companies launching VOD and IPTV services. I was VP of Entertainment at Diva, the 1st commercially deployed VOD service in the world. We grew to over 300 employees and raised over $500m. It was a great team and we should have made billions, but we were too early. Hindsight.I began my climb at Warner Bros., where I served as Director of Worldwide Acquisitions. ๐๐๐๐ต๐ผ๐ฟ & ๐ฃ๐๐ฏ๐น๐ถ๐ฐ ๐ฆ๐ฝ๐ฒ๐ฎ๐ธ๐ฒ๐ฟ I've written film & TV projects for ABC, JJ Abrams, Warner Bros., Lionsgate, and others. I speak on topics including social media, mindfulness, and conscious capitalism.Find me on Instagram @TryBeingHuman888 and read my musings at www.TryBeingHuman.com
