Terry Shakespeare has established himself as an imaginative and innovative designer/director in the world of high quality animation. After leaving art school and arriving in Los Angeles from Colorado with his wife Sue, Terry immediately began working at the Don Bluth Studio. Here he began his training as a key assistant animator working under Don Bluth, eventually expanding his skills into the areas of animation, storyboarding and character design. At Bluth, Terry also met his creative partner in crime, David Molina, and the two became an unstoppable artistic team. In their spare time, they developed many original ideas; one of which so impressed Disney, the team was hired to work in Consumer Products, where they helped designed Toon Town and contributed to the original designs of the Disney Stores, among other achievements.After forming Creative Capers Entertainment, the interactive market was becoming popular. Terry was experimenting in the cutting edge arena of computer graphics and embraced the new technology. He pioneered the way for Creative Capers to obtain an exclusive contract creating over 50 interactive titles for Disney that had day-and-date release with their movies. Terry has also lead Creative Capers into the future realm of CG animation, which landed them development deals at various studios, TV shows such as SITTING DUCKS, and movies like the LEGO/MIRAMAX Trilogy of BIONICLE. Terry and company continue to provide their creative skills to the Walt Disney Company in numerous divisions. Now considered a leading director in animation, Terry continues to seek out innovation and find new and creative outlets that allow him to work in all arenas of the industry.
