My goal is to uncover and identify the needs of people and organizations to inform the design of products in a structured manner. I discover patterns and reveal unknown insights and preferences from the people who use our products and I match these findings with business needs and goals. I help teams and stakeholders- Learn about the behaviors, goals, motivations, and needs of the people who use our products - Show how people currently navigate your system- Gain insights into where people struggle or have problems using your products - Show how people feel when interacting with your product - Match business goals/constraints with end-user goals/insights- Craft goal-directed scenarios to show how people can seamlessly walk through your site to reach their end goals- Craft wireframes / mockups- Test prototypes with end-users to uncover or validate their needs- Bridge the gap between business/product management and developers - Ensure that products are based on standards of Apple’s Human Interface Guidelines for iOS, Google’s Material Design Guidelines for Android, and web frameworks such as BootstrapDesigning and developing around a superb user experience should be talked about every step of the way. It’s a collaborative design process with a common goal of solving problems and creating positive user experiences.
