So SEO, Social Media Marketing, Content and Email Marketing are added to the lineup of skills.As the youngest and only girl of 6 kids, I had to learn how to depend on my creative side. I am very involved in my church and community theatre and had served on the board for several years as Vice President & Secretary. Nothing in my professional life has taught me more about being part of a team, quick thinking and how to follow someone else’s direction for the good of the project than my theatre experience. It broadened my desire to use my creativity for project management. But I am both “right-brained and left-brained". I love the part of tests where you have to figure out the next number or shape. Due to the current situation, I have moved more towards volunteer work and learning my new skill set of Digital Marketing. I became more involved in my church and am engaged in several ministries. We have grown our monthly Community Weekends by 150% as well as establishing a Welcome Center. Organizing (my favorite word!) of any type of event, whether it be trade shows, meetings or conference calls holds a keen interest for me. While working trade shows I learned so much about marketing and sales just by listening to customers. This was a key ingredient to my 25% sales growth. I have also become a committee member of our Capital Campaign, Fall Festival and Stewardship committees. I am the girl who volunteers to do the jobs nobody else wants to do. I always move towards streamlining procedures and creating a system to accomplishing these unwanted tasks. I have reduced data entry time by up to 30% at several companies.
