I’ve produced work for GoodRich Quality IMax Theaters, Quiznos, Jimmy John’s, AT&T, Nipsco, Weil-McLain, SPX, Pratt Industries, Bedding Experts, Jump Zone, small city governments like the City of Portage, City of Lake Station, City of Hobart and even created the 3rd District Senator Eddie Melton’s logo and brand.I’m a recovering “digital junkie” that used to make over 30 Pieces of social media content a day. I quit social media for 33 days to gain some clarity and figure out exactly what I want to do with the platforms .. I’m now down to less then 10 pieces of content a day (woot-woot).How’d you become a graphic designer? I got my job as a graphic designer in the most unusual way — I went in for the interview at an design agency with no design experience (only hand drawn illustrations), the creative director loved my illustration portfolio but was about to let me go because of lack of graphic design on a computer experience. As soon as I saw him extend his hand and was about to tell me, "Thanks for coming in but I'm needing someone with design experience” — I offered to work for free — Yep, that’s right ... I’ll show up every day on time consistently and be the last to leave. Long story short, they took me up on the offer gave me the job — except they gave me minimum-wage (Win-win!!)Some things I’m good at: Creativity, strategy, graphic design, branding / brand awareness, large format printing, offset printing & some silk screening. Also, all current design apps, estimating and job costs, sales, installation, business management, and cash flow analysis.
