Position: Lead Psychologist, Silent Talker & FATHOM ProjectsAbout My Role: At the forefront of psychological technology, I lead a dynamic multidisciplinary team in the development of Silent Talker—a state-of-the-art, non-invasive psychological profiling system employing computer vision and deep learning. This cutting-edge technology specializes in analysing non-verbal behaviour to identify psychological states, such as deception and malicious intent, with applications extending across various domains from national security to clinical assessments.Silent Talker System:Project Applications: Leveraged in airport security to assess high-risk passengers, in police interrogation settings, and for monitoring conditions such as autism spectrum disorders, sex offender behaviour, psychopathic personality disorders, and malingering.Technology Specs: Features real-time and offline processing capabilities, enabling both on-site intelligence during investigations and post-event analysis through video recordings. This is a Maximum Security Facility for the detention and evaluation of individuals who have been accused of felonies and raised the Not Criminally Responsible defence and/or their Competency to Stand Trial is in question. I deputised for the Superintendent, Dr Toby, a Forensic Psychologist, with responsibilities for a ‘Transitional Ward’ for criminally insane offenders under court order to be detained in conditions of maximum security. Duties included: Forensic interviewing and assessment, leading group therapy sessions, and the development of a sex offender treatment programme.
