Creesen Naicker is a social entrepreneur from South Africa.He has honed his leadership and project management skills through some innovative and groundbreaking pursuits. He was the founding project manager of the YoungHeroes programme which led him to become a leading thinker and practitioner in Sport for Development. These experiences led him to explore the use technology to address educational challenges, to supplement existing programmes, which brought him to Curious Learning.As VP of Strategic Partnerships at Curious Learning, Creesen aims to localise and distribute high impact early literacy mobile apps (free and open source) into languages that need it most.As a Director at VisionRSM, he has extensive experience in Event Management and Brand Activation, and has more recently focused his energy on Programme Design and Implementation, as well as Research including Monitoring and Evaluation, and Social Return on Investment. Creesen is a FIFA Masters Alumni (International Master in Sport Management, Law and Humanities) having studied through the International Centre for Sport Studies. He also studied a Masters degree in Organisational Psychology at the University of KwaZulu-Natal, Durban, completed a Post-Graduate Certificate in Result-Based Management at the University of Witwatersrand's Graduate School of Public and Development Management, and completed an Entrepreneurial and Leadership Programme at the University of Texas at Austin.Creesen has previously been selected as one the Brightest Young Minds in South Africa, is a winner of the Alberto Madella Award, and is a Mandela Washington Fellow as part of the Young African Leaders Initiative.
