I'm a writer for stage, screen and audio. I am passionate about immersive and accessible forms of drama with strong female leads. I write for a broad audience with work spanning the comedy and drama genres.I began my career by writing immersive experiences for the stage. My first commission for Shotgun Carousel at The Vaults, DIVINE PROPORTIONS (2018-19), invited guests to Mount Olympus to party with the Ancient Greek gods and interrogate the myths surrounding gender and pleasure. This "deliciously risqué" 5-star show (Broadway World) prompted a second commission on a larger scale: RED PALACE (2019-20), which used 10 interconnected spaces and allowed audience members to explore their own path, whilst always supported by a robust narrative structure. It was seen by over 12,000 audience members and chosen by The Stage as one of their top picks of 2019. My play, JOAN (2020), was originally written for the stage, but at the outbreak of the pandemic I adapted it for audio, and it was produced and released for free on Apple Podcasts. I am currently developing a 6x30min TV comedy series with Woolyback Productions, and a multi-form classroom-based experience for young people with Les Enfants Terribles. My first short film, LIAR, was selected as a finalist for the Royal Television Society's Futures 48 Hour Film Challenge. I am a Writer in Residence of the Jan Michalski Foundation in 2022.I also work as a dramaturg, script reader and critiquer, supporting other writers to develop their work and their voice.Before writing, I worked as a major gifts fundraiser, seeking philanthropic gifts for prestigious UK institutions, The National Theatre and King's College London. I have also supported smaller arts organisations such as VAULT Festival.
