I help non-profit institutions boost their giving & event attendance with a customized software solution called Advancement Form. This solution implements my decades of experience serving Advancement and Development Offices.I primarily work with college and university advancement offices. However, we also serve other educational institutions and non-profits who are looking to boost their giving and event attendance to the next level.I created Advancement Form to be able to serve a greater number of people. After working a fair number of years in Advancement Services at two different universities, I decided to use my knowledge to help build a solution to help a greater number of institutions and people. CioGeorge Mason University Foundation May 2001 - Dec 2009Last position held was CIO of the George Mason University Foundation.- Led the project to replace the fundraising system used by George Mason University and the George Mason University Foundation. Project was completed at nearly half the projected costs.- Designed and developed a data warehouse from the Foundation’s fundraising and finance systems that vastly simplified report creation and maintenance. Reports created from the data warehouse are completed in a quarter of the time, and report-processing speeds increased by 1,000%.- Deployed a web based reporting solution to the user community and provided training. As a result, ad hoc report requests to our office dropped by half.- Architected the design for the George Mason University (GMU) online alumni directory and coordinated its development with GMU’s central IT department. Identified and implemented the technology required to produce a monthly alumni e-newsletter. Both initiatives have quadrupled the number of alumni receiving frequent communication from the University.
