Hello, I am Crew Gerber, a second-year student at Indiana University Kelley School of Business from the small town of Huntingburg in Southern Indiana. My decision to pursue a major in Accounting and Finance is deeply rooted in my sincere desire to contribute to the success of businesses. Witnessing my father's journey in the same field and witnessing his efforts in enhancing his workplace further fueled my passion for this path as well. Within the past year, I had the opportunity to work at Kimball International as an intern. As an intern, I worked with the different Microsoft software and with databases such as SAP and TeamCenter13 to produce different documents to help the company succeed. I gained the skills of time management, dedication, and teamwork during this time along with the technical skills. Throughout high school, I was the team captain of my football team and helped guide the team to a championship while making sure everyone was making decisions off the field to represent our program. These difficult tasks allowed me to become a leader and a better navigator of adversity. My experience as an intern and high school football team captain influenced me into joining the Intramural Sports Council at Indiana University to further strengthen my skills of leadership, teamwork, and dedication. Combining my life experiences, my skills, my why, and my education at Kelley School of Business will guide me to succeed in future endeavors.Interests: Golf | Fishing | IU Basketball | Football | Baseball | Steak
