Boardroom Battleship is an experiential Virtual Reality simulation comprised of 8 individual modules. The module designs are rooted in the research done by Dr. Mary Crossen on Leader Character Analysis at the Richard Ivey School of Business. The VR simulation takes participants to a submarine environment where their task is to complete a variety of operations, objectives and problem solving sequences to achieve success in their module. The actions, characteristics, tendencies and reactions within the simulation directly relate to the Leader Character development of Dr. Crossen's work and enhance the learning desired through professional development exercises. While the simulation is rooted in Dr. Crossen's work, the modules can be utilized in a variety of ways and applied to endless development and facilitation strategies.
