Profile bio

About Catherine Hofmann

I am a project-based consultant and designer working with Fortune 50s, non-profits, and startups. I love to address interesting, complex, and sticky problems. My favorite interventions occur in systemic structures, communications, flow of information, feedback loops, and mindset shifts. In general, I help teams communicate effectively, reduce complexities, and build easy-to-use solutions. I also love tools and tech so I'm always experimenting and learning for fun, efficiency, and business cases. I've been involved in the Learning / Leadership / Development space since 2015, along with various side and passion projects. I cut my teeth at bootstrapping companies and maker studios with few resources, forcing me to be creative and agile. I also did several stints in the service industry, which I think should be a conscripted service. I'm broadly interested in design, urbanism, sustainability, and equity. I once read that if “you’re not at the table then you’re on the menu”, so I do my best to get involved and pull up others with me. I was born and raised in Indiana, spent 10 wonderful years in North Carolina, and now I'm living and working in West Philly. Outside of work, I like to use my hands - gardening, building things, sewing, etc.

Listed skills include Marketing Strategy, Design Thinking, Social Media, Wordpress, and 20 others.
