The Institutional Projects and University Experience Office focus on promoting and managing projects that develop the institutional profile of the university. The Office is currently focused on the "Generación Espontánea" project, the student empowerment and leadership program of the university. We consider this program as an enabler for improving the overall university experience and a new way of acquiring soft skills. The program is considered a pioneer action in the European Higher Education System that effectively promote a new way of acquiring soft skills by facilitating the involvement of students on extra curricular activities: Hyperloop, Formula Student, Makers movement, Moto Student, Synthetic Biology, Public Speech, Leadership, Arts and more than 50 different options. In parallel we also look for new ways to promote the institutional development by the use of open innovation in different fields like internationalisation or communication. We currently also deal with other projects connected with the R&D Area of the university, like the Human Resources Strategy for Researchers (HRS4R) or the International Campus of Excellence Initiative.

VLC/CAMPUS is the joint proposal promoted by the University of Valencia (UV), the Universidad Politécnica de Valencia (UPV) and the High Council for Scientific Research (CSIC) for the creation of an International Campus of Excellence within the metropolitan area of Valencia which aims to:1. convert the VLC/CAMPUS into a hub of knowledge of international excellence, through specialization of scientific-technological production in health, information/communication and sustainability;2. improve the quality of training on offer, services and facilities, with an orienta- tion towards student centrality;promote attraction and retention of talent.lead, from its own area, the change towards a new social and economic model in the territory, more intensive in knowledge and a generator of employability and productivity;3. act as reference model for those values and socio-cultural innovations that allow for a transition towards a sustainable economy and society

SEFI is a non profit European organisation for Engineering Education. One of the most active working groups of SEFI is the WG for Continuing Engineering Education. WG CEE organises annual workshops and conferences, and promotes joint project activities among its members, mainly in the field of Technology Enhanced Learning, and CEE management.

RECLA is a non for profit network devoted to enhance collaboration between higher education institutions in the field of lifelong learning.
