Built and led a transformation team that delivered a step change in the service levels and products we delivered to our B2B customers. This was a cultural and business change underpinned by a CRM and Billing replacement and prepared us for the competitive market.

Underpinned by a root and branch technology transformation, the change initiatives helped to ensure Thames Water became the provider of choice and leader in the UK water industry when the market became fully contested.

Management of the multi-discipline integration for the Specialist Vehicle (SV) programme, a programme delivering cultural and technical change. Identifying emerging risk and capabilities that lack definition and developing the detailed use cases and high level concepts required to underpin or mitigate. Recognised for delivering highly successful joint MOD end user and industry press conferences, in addition to briefing at ministerial level.

Operational management providing leadership, training and development to an enlarged organisation. In this role I motivated personnel, highlighted their worth, developed them individually and as a team and secured their recognition for achievements.

Provided end user expertise on a wide range of personnel and vehicle protection solutions, ensuring the group could meet deadlines for urgent operational requirements. Supporting decision making for R&D investment decisions. In addition I Project Managed a 5M pound trials programme for an urgent operational armour upgrade, in addition to PM for other projects and technical lead on another.

As an Instructor, I delivered practical and theoretical leadership training to regular and territorial cadets and professionally qualified officers. As Assistant Chief Instructor, I regularly delivered instruction and presented lectures to large audiences of 300+. I planned and conducted complex UK and overseas training exercises for the same audience.
