Kardos, Esq., researched, drafted and filed civil pleadings, motions and discovery in the federal and state trial courts of Pennsylvania and New Jersey. • Drafted all pleadings & discovery in one of the first products liability cases against Bic Corp.• Arranged for service on foreign defendant under Hague Convention.• Defeated motion to dismiss Societe Bic S.A., the French parent of Bic Corp. • Working with counsel, prepared a products liability case for trial in the Eastern District and attended trial, which resulted in a $3.25 million settlement in 1986. • Researched and drafted briefs in support of a number of criminal and civil appeals, including the death penalty portion of defendant’s brief in Commonwealth v.
