PWN Barcelona is a for-purpose, non-profit, volunteer-run city network of the Professional Women’s Network. PWN is in 30 cities worldwide and works towards gender-balanced leadership through professional development.While I don’t gain a salary, I gain a wealth of knowledge and now have a suitcase full of hands-on tools in addition to growing my professional network.-Develops the strategy on how to work with and leverage the community (private and public sector) around PWN Barcelona for increased visibility and impact of the network.-Identifies strong ambassadors for our brand, keeps them up to date and maintains strong relations with them.-Works closely with executive team to develop story/value proposition to partners, sponsors and ambassadors.-Works closely with executive team to identify prospective partners and sponsors for our chapter's events and programs.-Maintains positive relationships with current and prospective partners and sponsors. -Creates win-win solutions between PWN Barcelona, public sector entities, in-kind partners and sponsors, as well as other Barcelona networks.

The Barcelona Women’s Network (BWN) is a non-profit women’s organization that offers friendship and connections to expats and internationally minded locals living in Barcelona. As a social organization with a social purpose, it fulfills a philanthropic mission while also offering a professional networking component to enable women to fulfill their goals.As a volunteer, my salary was having earned the title of Networking Guru. My network thrived and I quickly became one of the go-to experts on Raising Multilingual Children in Barcelona.-Prior and during my official role as Vice President I organized three community events on Raising Multilingual Children which increased the visibility of BWN.-Identified brand ambassadors outside of the network to increase the visibility of the organization as well as increase followers on social media accounts. -Created win-win solutions between BWN and paid sponsors while maintaining positive relationships to ensure fundraising goals were achieved.-Oversaw and represented the BWN at targeted community outreach events, including the annual Barcelona International Community Day, American School Barcelona Welcome and BFIS welcome to name a few.
